Professional Code of Ethics in Interior Designing
Every profession should follow their respective Code of Ethics. I Believe an Interior Designer too needs, to follow some professional code of ethics with certain principles which guide them to make fair decisions, maintaining a healthy relationship with their clients, employees and also with each other. Every Interior Designer have some principles that often points out their responsibilities towards their clients, behaviour with each other, responsibility towards the environment, fees, compensation and basic conduct.

I Think Interiors; an Interior Designing Company/Firm based in Guwahati, Assam, also work with some Professional Code of Ethics. We try to build a strong relationship with our clients, public, as well as with our competitors. Our first principle is to understand client’s behaviour and their interests. We maintain fair and open competition in the market, honouring other designer’s work and their objectives. I Think Interiors believes in working and interacting with other Interior Designers too. An Interior Designer’s every design work should produce significant impact on the people who sees it, that way, we are responsible towards our clients. We must respect and understand clients’ requirement. Codes are often made to protect us from wrong business practices and that should be followed. Apart from our clients, we maintain a cordial relationship with our employees ensuring pleasant working environment, boosting them to give out their best in their designs.
